Everything was okay, except there were BEDBUGS EVERYWHERE. I had a terrible night trying to kill all the bedbugs that I could found. Unfortunately still got bitten a lot and carry them with me ………(even though I sensitized everything still 😑 ) If you don’t mind bedbugs, then it’s a choice. Otherwise stay away from here.

查询网站时看他家各种房型的房间都很齐备，以为是很大的一家旅馆，然而事实是：整间旅馆其实只有一个房间。。。所谓的四人间六人间八人间男生宿舍女生宿舍都是用简易的隔板人为分隔出来的。。。也算是活久见。。。相邻的房间只有一块半人高的隔板作为分界，没有门锁和插销，推门即入。1st floor是钢结构阁楼，楼上的房客侧头便可以清楚看到楼下房间的情况。完全没有任何隐私可言！总之相当于几十个人住在一个房间里，上下楼踩踏钢板的声音、讲话声、打鼾声混在一起，加上洞穴式的房屋本身就容易拢音，导致整间旅馆奇吵无比。当然他们可以辩解说这是由sassi本身的建筑结构造成的blablabla，然而房间设施也极其简陋，下层的储物柜甚至连底板都没有，个人物品都只能放在地板上（！） 服务方面，每天check in的时间只有四个小时，其他时间段前台都没有工作人员。在这种情况下，前台还经常迟到二三十分钟才姗姗来迟，而且并没有任何歉意，也是挺让人生气的。虽然他们解答问题的时候还算比较热心。

I had a wonderful time in Matera and this hostel made my time there so easy and enjoyable. The staff were so kind in general and really generous with their time in explaining their town and region to me and where some nice places to go might be. Dining recommendations were great, also advice about beaches in neighbouring Puglia Prov. really made my trip in this part of Italy a beautiful experience. I am very grateful and recommend this hostel, its clean and orderly facilities to everyone.
