Got a double room and ended up with three beds for a single traveller. Cleaned the room every day and provided water and a minibar. Staff were lovely. atmosphere was hotel like but not too many people there. Did have an issue where I got told to use a broken toilet which flooded, and was out of action for 2 days. Both embarrassing and a bit rank. However the hotel itself is very nice. Probably prefer it to Mayflower round the corner but only 3 stars for the toilet 🙂

While it's well located, and the staff try their best to make you feel welcome, the rooms could do with a lot of improvement. Poor drainage, no shower curtains, musty smell, badly located power sockets - it was by far the worst room we stayed in during our entire 20-day trip in Cambodia and Vietnam.

I had a great time at this place, i felt so confortable, home in Hanoi, breakfast 10/10, rooms are equipped with all that you need in order to make the chaotic Hanoi more enjoyable. Outstanding help from the reception team, but specially Long, who helped me a lot planning and booking my trips around north of Vietnam (Sa Pa, Ha long Bay, etc.) and part of the south as well. Best recommendations of how to be around the country.
Pretty well located, your best option when in Hanoi.
