Café Hostel

Rude staff. Cancelled my booking before I arrived. I tried to check in around 3pm and they told me they had given my bed to someone else despite me booking the day before.

The host was incredibly helpful and provided us with all the information we needed regarding Salvador. He was really nice to us and kept our luggages throughout the day. I would recommend staying in this hostel.

Good to know: the hostel actually consists of only one large room with four bunk beds that is rented shared or private. Pros: Nice and easy-going owner that is always up for a chat, charming old house at a pretty square in the historic center, nicely furnished, backyard to hang out. Cons: SUPER noisy area - bar right below the bedroom windows, very loud until late, during heavy rain water driped from the roof (better choose one of the lower beds, only cold water, bathroom floods when showering.
