The Smiths Hotel is home to 42 well-appointed guest rooms. We offer single rooms, twin rooms, double rooms, triple/family rooms, 4 bed rooms and 5 bed rooms which are either en-suite rooms or rooms with a shared bathroom.
Room facilities include Flat-screen TV, Satellite Channels, Direct-Dial Telephone, Adjustable Heating, Electric Kettle, Tea/Coffee Maker, Wardrobe/Closet, Towels for free, Hospitality Tray & Wake-Up Service.
An Iron, ironing board & hairdryer are available on request at the reception.
Cots / Highchairs - Please enquire at main reception before reservation. No extra charge. Children under 5 years of age free of charge.
We serve a full Scottish breakfast daily. Monday to Friday from 7am to 9am. Saturday to Sunday, the breakfast is from 8am to 9.30am.
The breakfast is an additional cost of £6 per person.
The rooms are Non-Smoking & Free Wi-Fi is present throughout the Hotel.
Check in is from 1pm and Check out is 11am.
We have a 24 hour reception and CCTV.
Luggage storage facility is available.

Nearest Long Stay Car Park can be found at Bunhouse Road Car Park (post code for Sat Nav is G3 8DP). This parking is available Monday to Sunday and the costs are 0-1 hour £1.60, 1-2 hours £3.20, 2-3 hours £4.80, 3-4 hours £6.40, 4-5 hours £8.00, 5-10 hours £10.00. Overnight Flat Rate 6pm-8am £2.00.
The distance from us (G3 7TQ) is 9 min walk (0.5 miles) or 3 min by car.
Option 2.
Parking is free from Friday 6pm to Monday 8am.
Street parking in the area is free from 6pm-8am Monday to Friday.
There is no free parking from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Parking during 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday can be paid using the RingGo App with a Maximum Stay of 3 hours costing £6.40 plus app fees of £0.40. After 3 hours, No return within 30 minutes to the same parking spot.
Option 3.
SEC Multi Storey Car Park, (post code for Sat Nav is G3 8GS). This parking is available Monday to Sunday and the costs are 0-1 hour £5.50, 1-12 hours £11.00, 12-13 hours £16.00, 13-24 hours £22.00.
The distance from us (G3 7TQ) is 13 min walk (0.7 miles) or 4 min by car.

Easy to go Kelvengrove museum & University of Glasgow. The breakfast is good. Good service. All the staffs are helpful & patient.

A few complaints about the room:
Bathroom door was broken. A latch was installed which was broken too. We weren't able to lock the bathroom door from inside. A bed socket was also broken. The mirror had cracks in it (A big notice with a red cross tape was placed on the mirror for guests). There also was a hair dryer close to the mirror and it stopped working within 10 seconds and was glowing red (definitely not a fire hazard :)).
