Casa Margouya is a backpackers accommodation located in the heart of Puerto Varas, very close to Llanquihue Lake and some of the best restaurants, bars and discotheques of the city.
We are a tiny but warm place! Staff is very friendly and we care very much about having a great atmosphere. Here you will meet travellers from all over the world, share stories and have a lot of fun. If you like adventures, there are also plenty of activities that we can arrange for you, such as: treking, rafting, canopy and kayaking, among others.
Cancellation Policy: 2 days before the arrival

Payment upon arrival: Cash

Margouya is an ok hostal with friendly staff and a very hostel like feel to it. It is however as many have mentioned quite small so (if sleeping in dorms) it is difficult to “recharge” in privacy anywhere and you can only go to bed when the last people in the common room go to bed. It is also quite humid (it was raining when we were there) and the bathrooms appear to have some water/moisture damage/signatures. It is ok for some days, but I wouldn’t stay for long durations. The location is superb.

Good hostel, great location. Communal space a little small and limited bathrooms but only had a short wait once or twice. Really cool style kitchen. Staff were friendly. Rooms were spacious with lockers. I also made some good friends to explore the area with.

Nice and great location but there were not enough bathrooms, the beds weren’t great and it felt overall pretty cramped.
