This hostel is located in a typical Amsterdam building, which means we have no elevator. Upper rooms are only accessible by stairs!
We are currently working on improving our rooms, so you may notice that we have ongoing renovation.
We understand that normally it means lots of noise and dust, however, we do our best to minimize the inconvenience.

Heart is situated in the real heart of Amsterdam, all that you need is beside you, dam square, red-light district, the main shopping areas, Amsterdam canal boats and public transportation to all other sightseeings. All rooms are designed with Hollywood atmosphere; each gets a movie name, movie pictures, story of the movie and movie themes such as godfather, American beauty, star wars, lord of the ring ......
** 7% city tax and €3 per person per night tourism fee are both excluded and need to be paid on arrival upon check-in.
Services
- check-in from 15:00 hrs
- check out until 11:00 hrs
- 24h front desk; no curfew or lockout
- Vending machine with soft drinks and snacks
- Free maps and information
- Free bed linen & towels
- Parking with a cooperated company for 37 EUR per night. For 1 day parking there is an additional price of 10 EUR.
- Nightlife just around the corner
Cancellation & modification
- If canceled or modified up to 48 hours before the date of arrival (local time 0:00), no fee will be charged.
- If canceled late or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
- If modified late, no refund for the difference in case of the reduced total accommodation fee.
Other hotel policies
- All private spaces are non-smoking.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Please note that Heart of Amsterdam does not have an elevator, so expect traditional Amsterdam stairs.

- No guarantee to get a private room, when 'Dorm' type room is booked.

- The hotel does NOT accept any request on bed type choice (i.e. up/bottom bed or single/bunk bed)

The location is not bad, in the center of the district, but the facility is so poor and the wc is not very good. there is no lift, so if you have big luggages, then it was a terrible experience.

Die Lage ist mitten im Rotlicht millieu, war zwar lustig aber wir hatten dies nicht erwartet (evtl nicht richtig gelesen).
Ansonsten ist es ein Hostel und halt kein Hotel aber für eine Nacht oder sehr unkomplizierte Gäste prima.
Es ist einfach, durchschnittlich sauber und sehr zental gelegen.
