It is located just at the gate of Tallinn's medieval old town - a minute's walk away from the busy port of Tallinn. Fat Margaret's is a perfect place to stay for ones keen on exploring the Historical Tallinn with its narrow streets and picturesque red roof-tops - not mentioning the cafes, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. The hostel offers for it's guests simple but comfy rooms, helpful staff and easy-on-the pocket prices, which make the place perfectly suitable for travellers of all ages. Hostel offers a possibility for a free morning sauna and pool.

My stay at Fat Margaret’s was awesome! Staff was very helpful with main sights in Tallinn (even though they pointed me to a closed post office). The facilities are great. The sauna was very unique (first hostel I’ve seen to provide a sauna), and you can even play your own music.
The building is a little bit old and therefore the floor is creaky. When someone walks outside the room, it is clearly audible. Mattresses were a bit old and stained, but the sheets were nonetheless clean, so it was OK

I dont kow how to describe it but I did feel like staying there for more days,an unusual feeling for me.

Enjoyed my stay here. Super affordable for a private ensuite room- comfy bed. Always clean, good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Free waffles in the morning were a nice touch. Location really great, supermarket and old town under 10 minute walk away. Having to drop off and collect keys coming in and out everytime was a bit annoying however.
