Wake Up Weligam represents all that South Sri Lanka has to offer. It's modern,With a fresh layout, friendly staff and funky activities, Wake Up aims to offer an experience, not just a bed. We have mixed or all-female dormitory-style accommodation with en suite as well as private rooms with en suite. Free WiFi, a cafe and a restaurant.
All units at the hostel are equipped with a private bathroom equipped with a shower.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 13:00 to 23:00.
Check out before 11:00 noon.
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included.
No curfew.
The minimum age for check-in is 18.
Pets are not allowed.

Loved my stay here!! First hostel I’ve been at where it’s really social and full of great people. The host is super kind and helpful too! Created genuine lifelong memories in just a short stay. Highly recommend! Lots of group activities to do around the area too :)

The atmosphere at this hostel is amazing! I’ve traveled a lot and therefore I’ve been to quite a few hostels but Wake Up was definitely the one with the best vibe. Not only once did it happen that people were planning on staying for one night and finally ended up being there for a total of two weeks or longer. Since the hostel is not too big it’s really chill and the owner will always know where something is happening at night.
I can highly recommend staying there! You won’t regret it!

I loved the vibe of this hostel! It’s worth mentioning Mahesh the Owner! He takes care of everyone and his own kombucha brand is the cherry on top. Apart from that the rooms are spacious. There are lockers with locks(you can request a padlock if you don’t have one with you). There are two dogs on property and they are friendly towards backpackers!
