Be aware!! The Basic Single Private are not private at all. They forgot to mention that they are “semi private”, means they separate a big room into 3 sections with a very thin wooden wall and you can hear absolutely everything, so no privacy at all.
I had trouble to sleep as the person next to my semi private room was snoring. The third night I had to go to sleep to the sofa in the lounge room because of that. But 6 am someone already woke up to work from his PC. So not much sleep that night.

My stay in the City of Panama was very good. Much of it because of Casa los Monstros. It's a very nice, clean and safe place. Stello and the hostel staff are very sweet. I highly recommend the stay.

Staff was nice and polite. There is a good atmosphere at the hostel and is quite easy to get to know other people. The kitchen is totally equipped and big. In overall an OKish place to stay for a couple of days. My main cons are:
1. NO cards accepted for payments...only cash
2. Cheap and old mattress....they are extremely soft and not comfortable at all .
