Cinema Hostel Jerusalem is a new, cinema-themed young soul hostel located in the very center of Jerusalem. Built inside the legendary Orion Cinema, the hostel creates a unique environment on a backdrop of your favorite classic films.
Perfectly placed for exploring the city, right in the city center and with vivid nightlife, Cinema Hostel also offers tours and activities, so you are always around friends!

Our pretty Cinema is a crossroads for travellers coming from every single corner of the world, ready to share new adventures and make new memories with some strangers who will soon become their best friends.
We are located in the very center of Jerusalem, in an area full of bars and restaurants - which make it a bit noisy but very enjoyable - and we offer a wide selection of activities and events that you can check on our Instagram profile.

Our rooms are themed on different movies.
You can go wild in a The Mask dorm, or enjoy a night in a sweet Grease private room with an en-suite bathroom.
We offer dorms with 4 - 12 beds, all including night light, plug, storage box, shared toilets, air conditioning, and free Wifi, while our cool movie-themed basic double rooms are great for solo travellers or couples looking for privacy. They have an en-suite bathroom and shower, and small storage spaces.
We also offer Japanese-style capsule rooms that provide you with complete private sleeping arrangements, a double bed, power and USB outlets and storage space. You’ll have access to our shared toilets, bathroom and kitchen and free Wifi.
The Cinema Hostel is your place to discover new cultures, make friends and choose your adventure.

Staff were nice enough but it was hard to meet people outside of the tours. The pods were decent sized and pretty quiet which was nice. There are some nice night events at this hostel that are popular with travelers and locals. was a little tough to make friends as a solo traveler especially since I was working remote as well. wifi and location were great though

Nice and friendly place to stay with an excellent location in Jerusalem.
However badly let down by an abysmal online system that refused to let us checkout as the system could not locate one of our party.
Although we had actually booked a specific room tried to palm us off with another one the size of a wardrobe which we politely refused.
The system for leaving luggage at the hostel was completely inadequate and prone to being seriously abused.
The Keys to the room proved not to work.

Very dirty and disgusting place, lack of sanitation and their staff or volunteers are made of a group of immature kids who are just trying to have fun in Jerusalem, instead of professional cleaning staff. Shower area is tiny, common toilet and wash area were always dirty and watery. They need to fix the dryer too, it’s just so loud and went on and on for day. Unfriendly staff who pretended they didn’t see you when walk pass you. I would NOT stay here again nor recommend this hostel to my friends or acquaint
