Welcome to Hotel Norte, a cosy place for everyone.We are a family that has taken over the hotel recently and we have done important work to give a new image not only to our place, but also to the vibrant neighbourhood in which we are immersed.We have everything you need to have a pleasant stay, in the middle of a very safe sector and with all kinds of cultural manifestations of Ecuador, involving food, music, architecture and much more.
We're in Cuenca's Historic City Centre, on the plaza of the “Mercado 9 de Octubre”. In the market you can find fresh food and delicious juices. Also we're just a few blocks away from “Parque Calderón” and the main attractions. A short walk from the Bus Terminal and the Airport
We have a wide range of rooms of all types: single, double, matrimonial and family; shared and private; of standard and economic quality. We make sure they are comfortable and cosy, including a cloakroom, hot water.

Taxi driver was genuinely scared to drop me off at night but seems ok otherwise.
Blankets not warm enough in winter.

Customer service is excellent!!! They were so helpful and kind.
However, our towel rod was broken, the toilet didn't flush well (took two or more flushes for even urine), the bathroom door didn't close all the way, we didn't always have hot water, and it says they have a gym but they don't. Also no kitchen. Oh and you hear everyone else on your floor.
You are right in the middle of old town which is neat but it does get loud.

Great location and good price for a private room, but not clean. Same garbage sitting in common area for days, bathroom on my floor was only cleaned once during my 4 night stay - did not even empty the trash for toilet paper.
