Sunshine Hostel

A bit out of town which was great for in the day but solo travelling wasn’t ideal at night for walking home late. Would be better if you get a taxi or use a lime bike. No curtains on beds but bedroom was clean, air con unit very loud and not super effective. Facilities were absolutely great for the price but definitely wouldn’t have wanted to pay more. Would recommend if you’re on a budget and okay with keeping things simple!

The showers didnt have hot water and wet towels were left on the floor for days at a time, also only one of the two bathroom doors locked. Floors were filthy to the point that your feet or socks would be black after walking in the kitchen. Their “kitchen” was one of those plug in single hobs and a kettle. There were people there over 70 and middle-aged adults more than young, the beds were small and uncomfortable and only provided a sheet and no duvet. I would not reccomend this place at all.

Backpackers, BE VERY CAREFULL in this place!!! Honestly, I had the worst experience ever!!!! I'VE BEEN ROBBED! Someone came to the hostel and took one of my backpacks with personal stuff, documents and my computer. They didn't give me back the money of my stay, as compensation. Completely disappointed! The faciliticies are not the best ones... But the guys who work there are nice people, so everything was OK until this disgusting situation. The hostel should reinforce the security!!!!
