I loved my stay at YHA Brisbane! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Kitchen was spacious and organized. However, the stovetop burners were hit or miss. Free use of towels was a bonus. Outlets at every bunk. Only thing was the noise. Between the construction going on within the building and the trains going by right outside all night long it was quite noisy. Besides that I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend!!

Loved my couple of nights here. The activities they run are great, especially the aboriginal boomerang painting with Glen! Found it super easy to make friends at the rooftop bar. Good location: ten minute walk from the museums and a bit further to a good shopping area. I was on the newly refurbished 2nd floor, there was a weird smell which I’m assuming will be rectified soon. Bathrooms were really nice, the rooms were tiny though.
