The combination of peace and tranquility and easy access to bus departures to all corners of the country makes Ximena's a great choice for lodging. Ximena's has both basic dorm rooms with shared bath and hot shower as wel as private rooms with private bath, hot shower, cable TV, ceiling fan and A/C
In our common rooms, roof terrace and patios, travellers from all corners of the world meet up and enjoy each others company while sharing information and making travel plans. Our helpful staff provide tourist information and first hand information on subjects from bus routes to embassy addresses as well as tourist destinations all over the country.
Founded in 1983, Ximena's Guest House is one of the oldest properties in town and we have throughout the years specialized in foreign travelers and NGOs.
Our services include internet service, phone calls via Skype, cable TV in common room, safe deposit lockers, book exchange, laundry service, restaurant, tours and transport services etc.
Another advantage by staying here is the personalized and up to date tourist and travel info we provide our guests.

The dorm accommodation was barely acceptable. The roof leaked. The room smelt from dampness. The sheets were worn through with holes and the pillows were so thin. There were no insect screens on the windows so no ventilation without insects getting inside. There was one fan and as I was the only one in the dorm I managed. The bathroom was acceptable.
The rest of the facility looked fine.
Lina was not there but happy to give travel advice at anytime

I really liked this small and simple hostal run by a local. Our room was very simple and the hostal is very quiet, but if you just search a place to sleep and not a party hostal this is perfect. The small inner yard was beautiful and they also had a terasse which was open for the guests and with a nice view. I would totally come back, i felt so safe and super welcomed. Thank you!

Ximena's is a clean and quiet hostel in a good location with a stable wifi connection. It is very close to many restaurants, shopping plazas, and attractions. This is not a party hostel which makes it good for the mature traveler. The neighborhood that the hostel is located in is safe and quiet. I would stay here again!
