Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking
General Group Booking Terms
By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.
- In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
- The booking deposit is non-refundable.
- Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
- Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
- Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
- It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
- Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.
Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions
The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.
Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy
Loss of deposit if no flexi-booking is purchased. Contact hostel 24hrs before your booking if you need to make any changes in numbers or days so as to not be charged for full booking.
Additional Terms and Conditions
Please contact hostel directly with arrival time.
All members of group will be required to leave a security/key deposit and to sign a declaration form upon arrival.
Full payment is due one week in advance to the arrival date for all groups of 7 guests to 19 guests, & due one month in advance for all groups over 20 guests. This can be paid via PayPal or TransferWise.
The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Junior / Primary School, High / Secondary School, Business Trip, Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party, Sports Group If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."
Additional Info:
We do not accept Stag groups or all male groups, if you are either and interested in staying within Budapest Party Hostels then we recommend checking out our sister hostels Grandio Party Hostel or Retox Party Hostel.
Unfortunately, due to past experiences, groups must now book the whole room to avoid disturbing other guests.
Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Though still participating in a different party every night of the week, Vitae represents the more relaxed, less intense atmosphere of the five hostels under the world-famous ‘Budapest Party Hostels’ group. Our staff, which are comprised entirely of experienced travelers, have all of the best recommendations and tips to make your stay in the beautiful city of Budapest the unregrettable highlight of your travels.
And why travel, if not to make new friends along the way? Over 60% of Vitae’s floor space are dedicated common areas for you to meet & mingle with other guests over a game of cards, drinks, or the cheap family-dinners the staff put on for only the cost of the meal’s ingredients. Vitae’s 3 modern kitchens are always accessible and if you’d rather eat your meals over a good film or video game session, there’s a projector room and a snug to lounge in during all hours of the day. We have entertainment central with a darts board, table football, guitar heroes and even chess to stop you from getting bored.
Sight seeing and partying don’t always have to go hand in hand, but Vitae’s all staff always try and present a healthy blend of the two together every day with their knowledge of all things Budapest, historic and contemporary. Whether you’re after a romantic evening dinner cruise on the Danube river or a 6am trip to a 24hr bar in the city after a night out, the staff have been in your shoes and will happily point you in the right direction.
It won’t take long to notice the ATM, currency exchange, tram stop, bus stop, convenience store, tobacco shop, and 24hr eateries and the cheapest bars are all on the same city block as Vitae.
A week with us will include party boats, ruin bar crawls, beer bikes, spa parties, open mic nights, backpacker parties and much more. Of course we are flexible and open to suggestions, so you let us know what you like and we'll see if we can get the group along - and we also know all sorts of cool stuff to do during the day!
We are on three levels and have the luxury of being to able to offer a multitude of different rooms to cater to every budget and privacy request, from private doubles, twins, female only dorms right up to 12 and 14 bed dorms for the more money-conscious traveler.

We stayed for 3 nights, but I got “cool shower” for two nights. My friend even had totally cold shower when she was washing her hair. Reception is on the 3rd floor, so it’s not easy to find the gate at the first time. Also, the ground floor had some disgusting smell. However, staff and roommates are nice. We had free eggs, milk, bread for breakfast everyday.

注意事项
The remaining balance of your booking will be due in cash upon arrival. We are unable to process and credit or debit cards. If you need help locating safe Money Exchange/ATM’s with fair exchange rates please contact us before arrival.
Please do not change up any money from the airport, or train stations as they have rip off rates.
When picking up a cab, ensure they are a city licensed taxi with a meter on tariff 1. A cab from the airport will cost around 7000-8000 hufs (around 21 euros). Alternatively contact us and we can help you book cheaper airport transfers.
When you check into the hostel you will be asked to sign a declaration about certain conduct in the hostel and in Budapest, and will be asked for a refundable key deposit of 3000 hufs (5000 huf groups of 5 or more) for for your security key. We reserve the right to end your stay with us if appropriate code of conduct has not been kept throughout your stay.
Please note:
Regrettably, due to previous experience, we can no longer accept bookings for people under 18 or over 36. If you have booked and are outside this age, please contact us and we will help find you alternative accommodation.
We do not accept stag, bachelor or bucks parties here but alternatively you can book one of our sister hostels Grandio Party Hostel or Retox Party Hostel.

This is a non-smoking premises. We should also mention that we have a noise curfew at 9pm so that if you want to party, we will take you out in the city to do so to allow resident guests and neighbors to sleep in peace, or people to chill in the hostel after this time.''
