The great thing about this place is that it’s very clean and in a pretty good location. It was good for a few nights and the staff were very friendly. However it had just about zero atmosphere, there was a much older “crowd” at the bar and the hostel does not have any organised activity such as walking tours or bar crawls which I found disappointing, not a great place to meet people in .

This hostel was excellent for location and the rooms were pretty spacey. I have 2 complaints, the showers were pretty terrible. Clean enough but they really just need redoing as some are cold and some just have one drip of water. My other complaint is that you have to pay for storing luggage once you’ve checked out, I have stayed at many hostels and have never had to pay to have my luggage stored for 2 hours. In saying this, I would stay here again purely for location and the kitchen was great

This hostel has 0 atmosphere so if that's what you're looking for don't come here. In saying that I had my stay here after I visited the islands so the chilled out vibe was exactly what I was looking for. The wifi was great, the aircon worked great, the staff were really friendly and it's in an amazing location. My one complaint is that it's next to a main road so if your room is on that side of the building it can be quite noisy

I had a great time at farout- I was in one of the small bungalows and yes it was hot and yes there were no power points but I paid €16 a night so I was very pleased with what I ended up with. You couldn't ask for a better atmosphere or a better location. If you don't want to 'slum it' there are plenty of nicer options to choose from with aircon that are a bit more expensive. Would definitely stay here again

I would not stay here again. The apartment itself was really nice and the wifi worked great. However the location and staff did not do it for me. You are about a 20 minute drive outside of Fira and the buses are super unreliable. Black beach is ok but if you want those 'Santorini views' stay in Fira. The staff were not helpful at all when I was trying to get a taxi to Fira or a transfer to the port. I wouldn't stay here again

As a sole female traveller do not stay here. There is NO atmosphere and I found it very difficult getting here on my first night in the dark. I felt uncomfortable at this hostel, The staff weren't that great (apart from the lady who works there who was very helpful and nice) Maybe in a group this place would be ok but not alone. There was a tiny fan that hardly worked and there were mosquitos in the room every night

This was the best hostel I've stayed in by FAR . Staff were amazing. As a solo traveller it was so easy to meet people in the dorms and in the common room. Dorms are clean and so are the toilets. I would definitely recommend the free walking tour , the pub crawl was a little expensive but I had a great time on that as well. The €2 paella was amazing and is another great way to meet people. I have nothing bad to say about this hostel, will be staying here again for sure
