I really liked staying at the trip yard. The downstairs dorm is split into two and leads onto the lounge area. It's simple and undemanding. It can get hot in the summer and there is no aircon downstairs so an extra fan would help especially at night. There are two more rooms upstairs. I like the freedom to come and go. The kitchen is fine and leads to a cool courtyard. Staff are really helpful and everywhere is clean. I was sad to leave.

Great stay in a quiet part of Beijing located two minutes from the metro in a hutong. Great staff and really good rooms. Each bed has a light, two sockets and curtains plus secure locker and extra storage. I stayed on the ground floor. Hot showers and strong Wi-Fi. Food was good too. Perfect and faultless.

A great place to stay.. central to the city and easy to hang out there. Next time I'm in Auckland would be happy to spend a week there.

It was an interesting place to stay, right in the heart of old town.. about 15 minutes walk to the museum. Its authentic Cairo without the trimming of a western style 'done up' hotel. It caters for everyone although when I stayed there it was mainly local people staying there and very few westerners. I like authenticity so I loved it for that. Everyone was really friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Strong WiFi.!

Don't be deceived by the score of 10.. its genuine. Everything is as it is and amber tree is one of the best, if not, the best hostels i have stayed in. Everything functions, its great to relax and chill and just 15 minutes walk from town which for me meant it was in one of the quieter parts.

Its a perfect place to chill and relax ..big garden, kitchen and lounge. Its close to the airport. Ratings are subjective but for me everything was right about this hostel. Patrick, as many have pointed out was brilliant and sorting out my travel arrangements as as a first time visit to SA, it was a great starting off point. Convrsatons were very informative. Its got a great bar and pool area to sit out and relax in. Local food was 5 minutes walk away.

Where to begin.. the location is ok.. close to china town.. an interesting part of Yangon, the staff were brilliant and helped a lot but for $30 to get a very small cell with no window, a basic double bed and a harsh strip light.. wow. Sterile walls, one socket and not even a waste paper bin.. come on guys..?? The door to the street is always open and stairs to the rooms bypass the reception so anyone can walk in anytime.. the showers trickled... where was the wonderful colours of the country?

It all depends on what you want from Pattaya.. This Hostel (really a hotel) is away from the madness of Pattaya and on the quitter beach strip of Jomtien.. This was fine for me. It was only 20bt to get to Walking Street.
to walking street songteo is 10 baht
