CERTAINLY BLUE,THIS HAPHAZARD OLD HOUSE HAS A VARIETY OF INDIVIDUALLY DECORATED ROOMS AND SOME VERY STEEP STAIRS, RUN BY A FRIENDLY JAIN FAMILY. SOME ROOMS ARE INCONGRUOUSLY OPULENT FOR THIS PART OF TOWN TOP OF THE RANGE HAS A BED AND A BATHTUB OF CARVED SANDSTONE
BEWARE OF COMPETITORS WITH SIMILARLY NAMED HOTELS.

It was with absolute pleasure that I had the good fortune to find 'the Blue House' run by the delightful Jain family in Jodphur, India - the 'blue city' on a visit to India.I found my time at the 'Blue House' an absolute pleasure - the accomodations were excellent - clean, spacious, peaceful, and the wonderful Manish and his staff were excellent hosts. I particularly enjoyed the wholesome meals I took, accompanied by majestic views, at 'Mamas Restaurant' on the rooftop. Lovingly prepared pure-veg dining at good prices!

I look forward to another visit to the magical 'Blue House' again in the future.
