WARNING! You must arrive at the time that you have given with your reservation. This time is shown under “Important Information” in this booking. The place you have booked is run by a family, they don’t have a receptionist and they will not be there if you arrive before or after your expected arrival time. You must always inform the owner if there are any changes in your plans. We suggest you keep your hosts well informed in advance of your itinerary, which city you will be arriving from etc. as well as your means of transport. You can always e-mail or phone your hosts in advance but for last minute changes you must always call them, never e-mail or SMS them on the same day you are expected to arrive to inform of any changes. Make sure you have understood this because otherwise you might find yourselves on the street with no one to let you in and it will be your own fault and nobody else’s.

Thank you very much for your understanding

FROM THE AIRPORT:
Buses to and from Granada's airport are scheduled according to flights arrivals and departures. That means there is always a bus waiting for passengers whenever a flight arrives. The bus from the airport costs 3 Euros. Ask the driver or conductor to drop you off at Parque Universitario Fuente Nueva, next to Avenida de Madrid. Make sure they don’t understand “Plaza Nueva” instead. From the green park, walk ahead about 100 meters on the same side of the street and look for the B&B’s front door which is at number 11, next to a shoe shop. Note that there is no sign for the B&B on the street. You will see the number on the upper part of the front door in golden metal figures. There is a sort of entry phone or intercom to the right of the door. Press key 4D to ask the owner to let you in. Take the elevator and go up to the 4th floor. Sometimes the bus from the airport can’t stop at the Parque Fuente Nueva in which case they will drop you off a few blocks further after the Triunfo Gardens which you will see on your left from the bus. In that case undo the road always on the same side of the street, pass the roundabout with the Spanish flag and go straight for about 200 meters to get here.

FROM THE BUS STATION:
Local buses number 3, and 33, run frequently (roughly every 10 minutes) to the centre. Get off in 'Parque Universitario Fuente Nueva' next to Avenida de Madrid. If you ask someone for help make sure they don’t misunderstand you and think you are going to “Plaza Nueva”.

FROM THE RAILWAY STATION:
Granada's Railway Station is only a ten minute walk away from Granada B&B Homestay and you don't really need to get on a taxi or a bus at all but if your luggage is heavy a taxi will cost you about 3 Euros. On foot, just go up Avenida Andaluces Street and turn right on Avenida Constitución Street. Stay on the right side of the street all the time. Walk about 400 meters. You will see a green park on your right. Next block after passing the green park look for the B&B’s front door which is at number 11, next to a shoe shop. Note that there is no sign for the B&B on the street. You will see the number on the upper part of the front door in golden metal figures. There is a kind of entry phone or intercom to the right of the door. Press key 4D to tell the owner to let you in. Take the elevator and go up to the 4th floor.

BY CAR:
If you are arriving by car from whatever direction you come from, follow the signs to MOTRIL and/or SIERRA NEVADA. Ignore any sign to Granada east, west, north or whatever. Just wait until you see the signs to Motril and Sierra Nevada. This will drive you directly onto the CIRCUNVALACION (E-902 and A-44 Ring Road). If you are already coming from Motril then follow the signs to Jaen, Madrid, Malaga and or Sevilla. If you are coming from the airport take the first turn off to Granada and Santa Fe thus leaving the A-92 highway and entering the A-92G. Anyway, once you are on the ring road (CIRCUNVALACION E-902 and A-44) mind the numbered junctions and keep going until you see junction 128 to CENTRO - MENDEZ NUÑEZ. Turn off the highway there and you will get into a round-about. If you missed the junction 128 use next exit to change direction and go back to 128. Never use a different junction or you will be hopelessly lost

From the roundabout, drive up to the centre towards Avenida Constitución. First you will see 'El Corte Ingles' Shopping Centre. Then as you keep going up you will pass a Cepsa Petrol Station (on your right), Einstein Square (on your right) and huge NH Hotel Granada Centre (on your right)

When you pass the NH Hotel Granada keep going up on Avenida Fuente Nueva towards Avenida Constitución. This avenue will change its name into Avenida Severo Ochoa. Shortly before enetering Avenida Constitucion you will see an underground tunnel in the middle of the road. Avoid it! It would take you out of the centre. So, stay on your right leaving the tunnel or your left. You will arrive at Avenida Constitución. Turn right. You will see the B&B’s front door at number 11, next to a Shoe-shop, but you cannot park there so keep going for about 50 meters and you will see the entrance to the underground car park.

Back to Constitucion Street look for the B&B’s front door which is at number 11, next to a shoe shop. Note that there is no sign for the B&B on the street. You will see the number on the upper part of the front door in golden metal figures. There is a sort of entry phone or intercom to the right of the door. Press key 4D to ask the owner to let you in. Take the elevator and go up to the 4th floor.

INFO ON STREET NUMBERS IN SPAIN: Note that only buildings have numbers in Spain. Shops and restaurants usually do not as they use the same number of the building. The number is usually displayed on top of the door of the main entrance to the flats. Don't be surprised then if number 11 is not right after number 9 or before number 13 as the shops in between do not have any numbers.
