very good staffs ! They speak English good!! It is not that easy to find at the first time, but after you stay there, it is really convenience, because it only five minutes walk to Nijojo. Yuko and Yuya cooks well, and I was enjoy the xxx yaki? sorry that I cannot remember the name, haha. The bed is really comfortable and the space is private, the first night in Kyoto was excellent since the hostel was so good.
