In October 2005 two travellers got together and created Hostel Lao. The Hostel was raised from the ashes of a destroyed old house to become a laid back oasis in the centre of busy Mendoza. Hostel Lao is a travellers oasis in the heart of Mendoza. Run by her owners from Argentina and England, the hostel is more like a big house where you can feel at home in our comfy lounges, huge garden full of tropical trees and complete with pool, or on our terrace, or just enjoy a decent nights sleep on our real beds! Our dorm rooms Malbec and Mate are fully airconditioned to help with those roasting mendozan nights! Where ever you are in Hostel Lao you will feel at home. We offer great tourist and insider info on the desert city of Mendoza and the surrounding Andes. If you want to see a little more of Mendoza than the guidebook just ask!
